The way we educate our children is a direct reflection of the hope we have for the future.
Right now, it seems like we have lost that hope.
Big Tech companies have infiltrated our schools to drive policy that treats students as customers, not learners. Our students spend increasingly more time looking at screens and less time learning and communing with one another, all while learning outcomes drop and mental illness rises.
We’re a group of parents, educators, administrators, students, and concerned community members working together to recenter education around students, not technology.
Founded in Wake County, North Carolina, but inspired by and partnering with organizations across the country, we believe this is a cause that people from all different backgrounds and belief systems can rally around.
We meet once a month to discuss ongoing advocacy initiatives, review policy changes across the country, and learn from people working within and around the school system.
